Privacy Policy

ProSiddhi — the website prosiddhi.com and the ProSiddhi Android app — is run by AZKASHINE SOFTWARE AND SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED. We decide why and how your personal information is used, so under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 we are its "Data Fiduciary".

• Job seekers use ProSiddhi free. We never ask a job seeker for money, and we never ask for your Aadhaar number.
• We collect what we need to help you find work, or find workers. We do not show adverts and we do not sell your personal information.
• An employer sees your phone number and email only when you apply to their job, or after they pay to unlock your profile.
• You can see, correct and delete your information, and complain to our Grievance Officer.

• Account: your name, mobile number (checked with a one-time code), your password (stored only in a scrambled form that cannot be read back), and your email address if you give one.
• Profile: your date of birth (to check that you are 18 or older) and gender; your home city or area and up to three cities where you want to work; a profile photo; a short description of yourself; your skills, your work history and the kind of work you want.
• Documents you choose to upload, such as identity proof, address proof, and education or skill certificates.
• Your activity: jobs you search for, save, apply to or report; the message you send with an application; your interviews; and messages you exchange with employers.
• Your choices: your language, whether you are actively looking for work, which notifications you want, and whether you agreed to receive WhatsApp messages.

• Account: your name and designation, your mobile number and email address (both checked with a one-time code), and your password (stored scrambled).
• Business details: company name, company email, address and city, size, year founded, GST number and company registration number (CIN), and the documents you upload for verification, such as a GST certificate.
• Your activity: jobs you post, applicants you review, candidates you unlock, interviews you schedule, messages, and your team members.
• Purchases: the plan you bought, the amount and GST, and the billing name, address and GSTIN for your invoice. Card, UPI and bank details are entered on Razorpay's payment page and stay with Razorpay. We do not receive or store them.

• Location: if you allow it, the app or website reads your location to suggest your city and show nearby jobs. We use it to work out your city, and where we can match a city we store the city's position, not your exact position. You can say no and choose your city from a list instead.
• Device and connection: your IP address, browser or app version and device type, recorded in our server logs to keep the service working and secure; and a notification token if you allow push notifications.
• Sign-in records: when you last signed in and were last active, and a record for each device you are signed in on.
• Google sign-in: if you choose to sign in with Google, Google gives us your name, email address and a Google account ID.
• We do not use advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not follow you on other websites.

• To create and run your account, and to check your phone number and email with one-time codes.
• To connect job seekers and jobs: search, recommendations, nearby jobs, and showing job seekers to employers as section 7 explains.
• To let you apply, schedule interviews and get updates — in the app, by push notification, SMS and email, and on WhatsApp only if you agreed.
• To verify employers and documents, check job posts for fraud, and act on reports, so that job seekers are protected from fake jobs.
• To take payments, issue GST invoices and keep the records tax law requires.
• To answer your questions and complaints, to protect ProSiddhi and its users from misuse, and to meet our legal duties.

We use your information because you gave it to us for these purposes and agreed to this policy, and where the law requires us to keep or share it. We do not use it for anything unrelated without asking you first.

• In the candidate list (before you apply): your name, photo, short description, skills, work history, the kind of work you want, your preferred cities, and whether you are actively looking. Not your phone number, email, date of birth, gender, documents or exact location.
• When you apply to a job: that employer also sees your mobile number, your email, your home city or area, your application message, and the education and skill certificates we have verified.
• When an employer pays to unlock your profile in the candidate list, they also see your mobile number and email.
• Employers never see your identity proof, address proof, date of birth, gender or exact location.
• An employer who has your contact details may keep them to contact you about jobs. If you delete your account, we stop showing them.

• Job posts are public, including the employer's company name, the name and designation of the person who posted the job, the company's size and the job's cities.
• Profile photos are stored so that they load quickly in the app and on the website. Anyone who has a photo's web address can open it, so please do not upload a photo you would not want others to see.
• Nothing else about a job seeker is public.

We use these companies to run ProSiddhi. They handle information for us, under contract, and only for these purposes:

• Google Cloud — hosts our servers, database and files, in India.
• MSG91 (Walkover Web Solutions, India) — sends one-time codes and messages by SMS and email, and WhatsApp messages through Meta if you agreed to them.
• Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — delivers push notifications to your phone. A notification may show a short preview, such as the first words of a message.
• Razorpay — takes employer payments on our website.
• Google Sign-In — only if you choose to sign in with Google.
• OpenAI — when our staff check a job post for scams, the text of that job post is sent to OpenAI's moderation service. No job seeker information is sent.

Our own staff see only what they need to verify accounts and documents, check job posts, help you and handle complaints. Some staff can read information but not change it.

We share information with the police, courts or government authorities only when the law requires it.

We never sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Your information is stored and processed in India. Push notifications (Google Firebase) and job post checks (OpenAI) may be handled on servers outside India. We use only providers that protect the information, and we follow any restrictions the Government of India sets on sending data abroad.

• While your account is open, we keep your information so that we can provide the service.
• When you delete your account, it is hidden at once. For 30 days you can ask us to restore it. After 30 days we erase your profile, photo, documents, applications, messages and notifications.
• As the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules, 2021 require, we keep a locked record of your registration details — name, mobile number, email and account dates — for 180 days after your account is closed, only to answer lawful requests from authorities. Then we erase it.
• We keep employers' invoices and payment records for as long as Indian tax law requires.
• We keep a few records that do not contain your contact details: that an employer unlocked a profile (their receipt), job posts that were closed, a one-way code that stops the same person getting a second free trial, your acceptance of our Terms and this policy, and logs of actions our staff took.
• Server logs are kept for up to one year, to keep the service secure, and then deleted. Backups are replaced on a rolling schedule, so erased information also disappears from them in time.

You have the right to:

• See your information and who we shared it with — download a copy from Settings, or ask us.
• Correct or update it — you can edit most of it in your profile.
• Delete your account and your information — see how to delete your account.
• Withdraw consent for optional things at any time: WhatsApp messages and notification types in Settings, push notifications in your phone's settings, and location in your phone or browser settings.
• Nominate someone to use these rights for you if you die or cannot act yourself — write to our Grievance Officer.
• Complain to our Grievance Officer and, if you are not satisfied, to the Data Protection Board of India.

Withdrawing consent does not affect what we did before. We cannot run an account without the information it needs, so withdrawing your agreement to this policy means deleting your account.

We reply to requests about your information within 30 days, and to complaints as section 16 explains.

• Every connection to ProSiddhi is encrypted (HTTPS).
• Passwords and one-time codes are stored only in scrambled (hashed) form.
• Documents are kept in private storage and opened only through links that expire within minutes.
• Our staff's access depends on their role, and their actions are logged.
• We limit repeated attempts to sign in or to send codes, to stop misuse.

No system is perfectly secure. If a security breach affects your personal information, we will tell you and the authorities, as the law requires — what happened, and what you can do.

ProSiddhi is only for people aged 18 or older. We check the date of birth when a job seeker signs up. If we learn that someone under 18 has an account, we will delete it.

The website keeps a few things in your browser so that it works: your sign-in (including a secure sign-in cookie), your language, and any form you are part-way through. The app keeps your sign-in securely on your phone. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If you clear this storage, you may need to sign in again.

For a question or complaint about your personal information or about ProSiddhi, write to our Grievance Officer:

We confirm that we have your complaint within 24 hours and aim to resolve it within 7 days. If you are not satisfied, you can appeal to the Government of India's Grievance Appellate Committee at gac.gov.in within 30 days and, for personal data, complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and ask you to read and agree to the new version the next time you use ProSiddhi. We also remind all users about this policy and our Terms & Conditions at least once every three months.
